Music Education

Guitar lessons are customized to suit your needs whether it be learning note reading as a  beginning student or exploring new ways out of "ruts" which happens to even the most experienced player. 

Bass lessons, much like guitar are tailored for the students needs, but the foundation of keeping time, learning the neck, reading notes and understanding your role in any musical situation is still the focus. 

The bass players relationship to the drums is a unique experience with endless possibilities.

I teach the basics of the drum set that includes snare drum fundamentals, reading for the drum kit, how to work closely with the bass player and playing for the artist and the song. Understanding styles of music and how to approach them are also a point of focus. 

Saxophone lessons can start from the very beginning to advanced. Basics include note reading, achieving desired tone and navigating passages no matter how simple as some playing occurs in "horn sections" that may be in a school setting, Jazz or in an R and B Band. 

Lessons include a specific attention to technique as each instrument requires a unique approach whether it be finger rolls, various picks and how to play them solo or in a band setting. My background comes from playing in pit orchestras, church and recording for television and short movies. 

Audio Production and Recording is a never ending learning field and I love to offer advice from my experience. Much of this is from the course I teach on the basics of Music Production where we talk and apply concepts in my studio and critique various "mixes" from the most simple to the pros.
